I thought this neglected deviantart account might deserve an update :boing:

I've run out of film. I used to have a drawer full of film reels ready to go, but those eager canisters have been replaced with ones tired of being trapped in their casings. I have nearly twenty rolls of (largely un-postable, I grant you) film waiting to be developed now, some of which I shot nearly two years ago. I just wish I knew which ones to develop first! I've never been in the habit of labelling canisters, simply because I never had many finished rolls lying around. I even have four 120 rolls ready to be developed now. I just need the means to do it.

It's unlikely that many people read these entries, but if anyone could recommend cheap film processing services, that would be wonderful.

I'm thinking of investing in a new lens for my DSLR. I'm also thinking of buying a film SLR. I don't know which takes priority - I think with a new lens, I would stretch my shots further. But I'd still be trying to recreate film images. I'd love to use a quality camera with my film though.. I've been playing around with plastic cameras for a while now, and though I do love my small OM-10, it'd be nice to have a bit more weight in my hands and my photos.

Well, that's all for now, really. I haven't had the opportunity to go out anywhere in the past few weeks, but I might crawl out of my hole in the next few days to do some Christmas shopping. Is it too early? :giggle:

Behind the tears, inside the lies, a thousand slowly dying sunsets, God knows what is hiding in those weak and drunken hearts.
